At the age of 2, Santi fought kidney failure which required a transplant. Right now, he is 4 years old and is fighting an aggressive liver cancer.

Despite recent chemotherapy, his family had to take him to Houston to have a surgery this coming Monday, 7/8/24, to remove some of the cancer.

Unfortunately, due to all the time needed to care for him, his dad recently lost his job and the family is currently struggling to take care of daily living expenses in addition to all the travel expenses required for his treatment.

This is all close to home, as we ourselves went through this with Sarah, our daughter, who fought 2 battles with cancer. First at 11 weeks old, then at 2 years old. Even though we had really good insurance, and I never lost my job during that time, we could not have gone through it without the financial help and support of many to help us cover all the travel expenses, and additional cost not covered by insurance.

Therefore, I can only imagine the stress Santi's family is going through right now.
