Our 13-year-old nephew, Santino Rizzo, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). While highly curable, Santino will endure at least one year of chemotherapy and a rigorous treatment schedule. He is receiving care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and is in the best hands to beat this disease.

This GoFundMe will provide Santino, his parents, Al and Jen, and his sisters, Justina, Angelina, Sabrina, and Alina, with vital financial support to cover medical bills, transportation costs, meals, and to compensate for lost income from missing work. Together, we can provide the financial boost to help Santino and his family focus on healing as comfortably as possible.

Santino has always made us all so proud. His love for dinosaurs, planets, and all random facts gives any adult a challenge of knowledge. He is compassionate, always enjoys a good conversation, and loves being with others. If any kid can take cancer down, it's Santino, and we are so grateful for any contributions from the community to make this journey that much more manageable.
