Urgent Dental Procedure Our Insurance Don’t Cover

Hi, my name is Zenaida Cabrera I’m his mother Santiago Rivera. He is now 6 years old and in Kindergarten. We are having a lot of trouble trying to get his dental procedure done @cook children’s hospital in FORT WORTH . We have been to ALBQ @UNM hospital and also to Las Cruces, but were denied due to not being in a hospital setting or not having the right equipment. He also needs to be monitored by cardiac specialists because he has Left Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome. He needs this dental work to have his next heart procedure We are all born with 4 chambers in our heart, but unfortunately, he was not! So, he has had to have multiple heart operations since he was 3 days old. At 6 months to a year, he had a procedure called a shunt, and in 2023, he had the last major procedure called the Fontan.

We have been waiting over 1 year and a few months to get this dental procedure approved and also keep getting denied by our insurance, so we are having to pay out of pocket. I'm a single mom of 4! These funds will go directly to the hospital (Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth) where all his procedures and surgeries have been done This funding is for the hospital Opertating Room setting anesthesiologist and some of his dental work we’re having to pay out-of-pocket . We have done appeals to try and get this approved, but unfortunately, we haven’t had any luck!
