Support Santiago’s Recovery After Accident

Donation protected
Our son, Santiago Mendez, recently turned 21 and has always been a hardworking and dedicated young man. He serves in the Texas National Guard, works full time as an automotive mechanic, and is a student at Collin College in Allen. On October 31st, after finishing his last class, Santiago was headed to his apartment in Richardson during rush hour when he was involved in a serious vehicle accident. He was rushed to Medical City of McKinney ER, where doctors discovered he had fractured his pelvis and left tibia. Since the accident, Santiago has been immobile and unable to work, which has been incredibly difficult for him and our family.

Santiago’s recovery will take several months, and in the meantime, his expenses have continued to pile up. The funds raised will go directly toward his medical bills, co-pays, physical therapy, rent, vehicle and insurance payments, and other living costs. Even though Santiago has moved back home to recover, he is still responsible for his apartment lease and ongoing bills. With no income during this time, it’s been a struggle to keep up with everything.

We are reaching out to our community for help. Your support will allow Santiago to focus on healing and getting back on his feet, without the added stress of financial hardship. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Santiago and our family. Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and for any help you can provide.
