Support Santiago's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, My name is kennya and im reaching out today with a heavy heart and the highest hope to ask everyone for help. My 3 year old nephew Santiago was recently diagnosed with Cancer. On march 31 my sister Jacqueline brought Santi in to the ER because he had been complaining of headaches, vomiting and leg pain. They decided to do a CT scan and 10 min later the room was filled with doctor letting us know they had found a tumor and the reason for the headaches was because the tumor was causing a blockage called obstructive hydrocephalus. They let us know he would have to be admitted immediately to get emergency surgery to help drain all the fluid he was retaining. Since March 31 Santi has undergone 3 head surgery one being a major brain surgery to try and remove most of the tumor which came back to be Pineoblastoma . His MRI also showed that the tumor had spread through out and down his spinal cord.

Since PINEOBLASTOMA is a Rare and AGGRESSIVE cancer it is consider grade 4. This means Santi fight has just started he will now have to start Radiation for 6 weeks consecutively and then start chemo a month after for 6-9 months. He will also need intense physical therapy everyday to help gain mobility and will need to remain in the hospital for the time being until further notice.

My sister Jacqueline and her kids father Alan have been unable to return to work while still having there 5 year old son to provide for. This has been a very overwhelming time for them both on top of the emotional stress that comes with all of this.
