Support Royal's Battle with Leukemia

My whole life I have been a private person so for me to start a fundraiser for myself is a big deal . Being a patient and being in healthcare is extremely difficult. It’s hard when the roles are reversed. I am a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. I’m not one to ask for help, but I am reaching out and asking my community, family, friends, loved ones, etc for their extended hand and helping me in this situation. I was diagnosed with leukemia on March 17, 2014 two days after my birthday. I found fight in me that I didn’t know I had even when the doctors gave me 18 months, God said I’m not done with you yet! I had three young children back, then. I knew I needed to survive so I picked up my gloves, and proceeded to give it my best shot I survived. I was okay until June 2022 when I got that phone call that I was no longer in remission, and I would have to fight this fight again that was like a punch in the chest with no possibility of air. No it has not been easy, but I continue to fight. I continue to wake up every day and put my gloves on and try my very best to kick leukemia butt. In doing so I have accumulated a lot of medical bills, financial burdens and hardship. I have to travel back-and-forth to Augusta and Atlanta for treatments due to me being on a clinical trial/experimental drug because I’ve tried at least 5 different chemotherapies and they have all failed. The leukemia is getting more aggressive, and we have now reached the point where we’re talking about bone marrow transplant. This will be a major surgery if that is the route that my oncology team and I take. I am asking for support no matter the amount . I also have Cash app, Venmo and Chime. I will leave all information at the end . It has been very difficult for me to focus on healing when I also have to worry about getting back-and-forth to my appointments, making sure they are healthy options for me, food, and making sure I continue to have housing.
