The Branches is an independent short film powered entirely by Santa Barbara locals. The film features a favorite Santa Barbara spot The Rack, a pool hall downtown that provides a fun safe environment for people of all ages to come together, put their phones down, and partake in play.

The film explores the idea of meaning, and how to find it. The story follows a young twenty year old man between three entirely different life paths. He struggles to make a decision and in doing so he holds up a mirror to how society functions and whether or not we are living in an environment that supports inner peace. Ultimately he realizes that looking for answers outside of himself is not the solution.
