Support Sanjay Samuel’s Recovery

On the morning of September 22, 2025, my 13-year-old son, Sanjay Samuel, was shot on his way to school in Queens, NY. Sanjay is now on life support in the hospital, and our family is facing the most difficult time of our lives. Sanjay is a vibrant, fun-loving teenager who brings joy to everyone around him. He loves playing basketball, going fishing, and dancing. His passion for music, especially playing the drums, fills our home with energy. Sanjay’s kindness and beautiful personality draw people to him, and he cherishes every moment spent with family and friends, whether it’s going to church or just taking a walk to the store.

Since the incident, our family has been devastated. Sanjay’s brothers have become withdrawn, and his sister is struggling to cope with the pain, often crying inconsolably. The uncertainty of Sanjay’s recovery weighs heavily on us. Doctors have told us that if he survives, he will need long-term rehabilitation and ongoing medical treatment. The medical expenses are overwhelming, and we are reaching out for help to give Sanjay the best chance at recovery.
