Saniyah has always been passionate about volleyball, and this year she’s earned a spot on the A5 12-2’s National Team—one of her biggest goals yet. Her dedication is clear both on and off the court, as she puts in extra hours at elite trainings and self-practice to keep improving her skills. Volleyball has helped Saniyah grow her confidence, become a better teammate, and develop leadership qualities that show up not just during games, but also at home with her younger sister.
This season is especially meaningful for Saniyah because making the 1’s or 2’s National Team opens up new opportunities. She’ll be able to compete at national qualifiers out of state, gain exposure to recruiters, and even pursue brand ambassadorships for products she loves. The experience will help her continue to grow as an athlete and as a person, and it’s a big step toward her long-term dreams in volleyball. Saniyah’s younger sister looks up to her and hopes to follow in her footsteps, and Saniyah herself is inspired by top players like Harper Murray, Kennedy Martin, Olivia Babcock, Madison Skinner, and Asjia O’Neal. Saniyah dreams of one day playing at a Division I college volleyball program, and every season brings her closer to that goal.
We’re raising funds to help cover the many costs that come with club volleyball, including tournament and registration fees, coaching and club costs, travel expenses, uniforms, and equipment. Right now, her dad and I are managing monthly tuition payments, but your support would help ease the financial burden and allow Saniyah to focus on what she loves most—playing volleyball and growing as a leader. The club does offer fundraisers later in the season, but only 50% of what is raised goes toward our costs, so with such a high expense, we need help bridging the gap. Every contribution brings her closer to her goals and helps inspire the next generation of athletes in our family.
