My name is Sandy, and over the past year, my life has been turned upside down by a series of serious health challenges. I recently underwent surgery for a hiatal hernia, but unfortunately, I will need to have the procedure redone in January. On top of that, I had back surgery on October 29th, and I am preparing for a total knee replacement scheduled for December 15th. Alongside these surgeries, I am also managing COPD, a mass on my liver, cysts on my kidney, and scarring on my lungs. Each day brings new challenges, but I am doing my best to stay strong and hopeful through it all.

Because of these ongoing health issues and the need for multiple surgeries, I have been unable to work since May 21st of this year. I am currently on FMLA, but the loss of income has made it extremely difficult to keep up with living expenses and bills during my recovery. The financial strain has added another layer of stress to an already difficult situation, and I am reaching out for help as I focus on healing and regaining my strength.
