Sandy & Craig Steele Need Us

For years, Sandy has been our rock, our teacher, our friend, and most passionate and compassionate support, now she and her husband Craig need us to step up and help them.

Many of you may be aware that Craig, after suffering a seizure in May, was subsequently diagnosed in June 2025 with grade 4 glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer. Fewer of you may be aware that since then Sandy has been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Currently, Craig is being treated through a multi-pronged approach to care; Kaiser providing traditional radiation and chemotherapy infusions every three weeks, a naturopath delivering immune activating therapies, and recently the Veteran’s Administration has linked it to his Agent Orange exposure during his time during the Vietnam War and will be managing his primary care. Sandy is following the advice of her Kaiser oncologist who will be closely monitoring her blood levels while also seeking care through her naturopath.

After being our friends, our support, and beloved members of our community, it’s time that we unite around them as they experience raising medical bills that they have limited ability to pay.
