Support Sandras Fight with Terminal Cancer

Hi my name is Chelsie Dunne and I am one of three daughters and one step son to Sandra O'neil.

On March 10, our mom was rushed to the ER in excruciating pain — pain she had been experiencing for months, but was repeatedly dismissed by doctors as arthritis. It wasn’t until that ER visit that scans revealed lesions on her shoulder and hip, prompting further investigations.

On April 18, we received the devastating news: our mom has terminal cancer that has spread to her spine, lymph nodes, hip, shoulder, lung, and liver. The doctors told us there is no cure and no surgical options and that their best estimate was that she would have a few weeks left on this earth.We are now facing the heartbreaking reality of preparing for end-of-life care, even though our mom is determined to keep fighting for as long as she can.

She is only 56 years old. She should be looking forward to celebrating her birthday on April 28, only 7 days away— not facing this cruel diagnosis.

Until now, our mom was the sole provider for her household. Her husband, who is disabled and retired, now finds himself in the difficult position of trying to care for her. Our youngest sister has moved back home to help both of them — taking on the roles of caregiver and financial supporter, all while grieving alongside us.

We are humbly asking for any support you can give — whether it be financial assistance to help cover medical costs, bills, and basic living needs, or simply prayers and positive thoughts to keep our family strong through this time. All funds will be directly deposited into my sisters account to assist with cost of living and end of life arrangements as she becomes the sole caregiver and financial provider for both my mom and her husband.
