Sandra Abbott has been my friend for over 10 years, and I’ve seen her face life’s challenges with incredible strength. Recently, Sandra was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent two surgeries to remove the mass, but unfortunately, the cancer spread to her lymph nodes. Now, she’s preparing to undergo chemotherapy. In the midst of all this, Sandra received some joyful news—she just became a grandmother! Her grandson was born Super Bowl weekend, and her daughter and the baby will be staying with Sandra so she can help care for the little one.

Despite her positive spirit, Sandra is facing serious financial strain. While her insurance covered most of her medical expenses, she is still responsible for a significant amount. On top of her own health battle, Sandra is also supporting her daughter and grandson, including medical expenses from the pregnancy. She is carrying a lot on her own, but she remains hopeful and determined, knowing she has a new grandbaby to love and care for.
