Only a couple of weeks ago, our world was turned upside down by a monster named cancer. We all know Sandra can fight EVERY obstacle on her own, but for this one, she needs us.
July 2025
Sandra was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which has spread to the bone and brain.
Treatment
On July 23rd, Sandra will start brain radiation. The doctor is VERY CONFIDENT that he will get it ALL! The lesions are small and aren’t near her hippocampus, which is where long-term effects could stem from.
The doctor plans on making this into 3 treatment sessions, zapping 10+ at a time.
While this is happening, she will also be starting Keytruda (immunotherapy) that will target the lung and bone.
We do have a Facebook page that we are updating regularly with all her accomplishments.
The funds will be used for anything Sandra needs. For her medical bills, comfort, anything she might need, Don will distribute accordingly.

UPDATE July 22 2025: Sandra had to go to the hospital for a blood clot but is back home now and resting. Radiation will start next week but Ofcourse we will keep you all updated.
