Support Sandra's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Alex and I'm fundraising on behalf of Sandra Lefebvre, Michael Marconato and their two young sons.

Sandra was recently diagnosed at the age of 31 with an aggressive form of stage 3 breast cancer. This has been a very sudden and shocking diagnosis. Sandra will need to be off work as she travels back and forth from Northern Ontario to Princess Margaret in Toronto for treatment.

Sandra is a loving mother, wife, and friend. She has spent her life selflessly putting others before herself. She is raising two boys and has worked for the last six years as a Registered Nurse. Mike also serves the community as a Paramedic.

Sandra has shown amazing positivity, grace, and dignity in the face of such awful news. Our goal is to raise funds to alleviate some of the financial burden so Sandra can focus on her treatment, recovery, and her two young sons. We’re asking for your help so they can focus on healing — not survival. Every donation, every share, and every kind word helps.

Elliot Lake has been so lucky to have these two kindhearted professionals living and working in our community. Sandra and Mike have dedicated their lives to caring for others. It's our turn to take care of them. Elliot Lake has such a beautiful history of taking care of its own. Let's show Sandra and Mike that this community stands behind them in their time of need!
