Hi everyone, We are reaching out today with a heavy heart but a lot of hope. As many of you know, Sandra was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. If you know Sandra, you know she is the first person to lend a hand and the last person to ask for help. She is a mom, sister, Nana, and friend who brings so much light to everyone around her. Now, it’s our turn to be the light for her.

Sandra has already begun a rigorous treatment plan, including 3 rounds of chemotherapy and weekly paracentesis. She will also have surgery and hopefully a fourth and final round of chemo treatment in about 8 weeks. While she is a fighter, the reality of this journey is that her salary benefits will begin to decrease before her treatment is over. Between medical co-pays and the loss of income while she focuses on her health, the financial burden will become overwhelming.
