My name is Vanessa Luna, today I am reaching out with a urgent request for support on behalf of someone very important to me

my aunt Sandra Perez.

Sandra Perez is a long-time resident of Soledad, CA who was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of 2025, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She is a devoted mother of four children and the wife of Maurilio Perez. They have been married for 20 years and are raising a beautiful family together. She is a very dedicated, loving, compassionate, responsible, caring, hard-working, and resilient woman. Sandra has always been very religious and family-oriented. Prior to her illness, she was a loving caretaker for her mother-in-law, her children, nieces, nephews, and her friend’s children. She also worked in the bakery of our local Walmart. As treatment and medical appointments became a part of her daily routine, she is no longer able to work.

Sandra has the love and support of her family and friends, which has helped her remain strong during this difficult and unforeseen circumstance. However, this has upended her family’s world and placed a heavy financial burden. Sandra now needs our community’s financial assistance to help pay for her cost of treatment for chemotherapy, radiation, upcoming surgery, and living expenses.

Community members, family, and friends who wish to help are encouraged to contribute to Sandra’s medical relief fund. Every donation will go towards easing the family’s financial hardship during this challenging time.
