Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

If you've had the pleasure of knowing Sandra Monarko, you would know that she has a big heart, is kind, giving, loving, unselfish, and such a strong individual. She is all of the things that make someone a wonderful human being. Sandra loves her family to her core and absolutely adores being a grandma to her three grandchildren.

As you may or may not know, she was getting ready to retire this April (at 69 years old) and had planned on selling her home and moving out to Las Vegas to finally have some freedom with her beloved husband Joe, who is a retired military veteran, as well as travel to Texas so she could enjoy spending time with her newest grandbaby, Luke, whom she absolutely adores.

Unfortunately, Sandra has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which has shocked us all and has not only caused a whirlwind of emotions but has also put her and Joe in a very difficult and stressful financial situation. We know that her journey will be challenging, but we also know that her resilience will help her push through to a path of healing. Sandra's strength, optimism, and determination are as evident as ever as she faces this challenge.

As Sandra focuses on her recovery, her immediate family has offered unconditional love and support and is hoping and praying that we are able to get friends, family, and community members to help offer support as much as they possibly can as well. Funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will help cover medical expenses, treatments, and any other unforeseen costs during this difficult time. We also want to help alleviate any financial burden that might prevent Sandra from focusing solely on her health and healing.
