Help Support Sandra "Ms. Boo" Dubose After Devastating Flooding
Dear Friends and Community,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of Sandra Dubose, a beloved member of the community in Clayton County, Georgia. Recently, her home was severely impacted by the heavy rains from Hurricane Helene, causing devastating flooding that has left her in a dire situation.
The flooding originated from the creek behind her house, which overflowed and led to water backing up into her home through the bathtub and toilets. This unfortunate incident has not only damaged her septic tank but has also resulted in significant water damage throughout her home, affecting the floors and baseboards.
She is not able to stay in her home currently due to mold issues from the water damage to her home. Her bed, clothing, and bedroom have been damaged as well.
As a senior, Sandra has limited resources and was recently denied assistance from FEMA because Clayton County was not declared a disaster area. Also, her home insurance does not cover natural disasters. This has left her without the necessary support to recover from this crisis.
We are asking for your help to provide Sandra with the financial assistance she desperately needs to repair her home and restore her living conditions. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring her one step closer to recovery.
Donated funds will be spent on Mold Remediation & Home Damage Repairs
Let’s come together as a community to support this loving senior of the community during this challenging time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
