Support Sandra: Disabled and Robbed
Donation protected
A week ago, my friend since kindergarten was robbed by her roommates of $600. Sandra Bohlig is 68 years old and handicapped, with her mobility restricted to a wheelchair. She needs rideshare and friends to make her healthcare appointments or go shopping, etc. She is trying to continue her independence by living in an apartment.
Not only did the roommates of only one month drain her bank account to zero, but they also seem to be on the run. They are not paying their half of the rent of $400 plus half the utilities that they committed to through July. Sandra will need the stolen $600 plus the $800 for half the June and July rent and 3 months of utilities that they were also to contribute to Sandie. She will also have the cost of starting an eviction to guarantee their legal departure.
She is living on her Social Security as her only form of income. The only reason that Sandra had the $600 in her bank was because she had received her Homestead Refund. Her temporary reserve was totally wiped out.
