This is to raise money for my sister Sandra, her husband Alex, and their neighbors Nanci Ann, and a family of three.

At 11 pm Saturday, May 10th, their apartment building caught fire. This will go towards replacing what items were lost, cleaning what could be saved, and temporary accommodations while displaced. We appreciate any help.

My neighbors and I want to thank everyone for their caring thoughts during the last week. The generosity has been truly touching. During this week we have started the insurance and restoration process, and are trying to find a new place to move to. The paperwork has been immense, but every note, text, and email has made us smile and simply feel grateful to have all of you in our lives. We are indebted to this community of friends and family and promise to pay it forward.
