My name is Amy Brower, and I'm reaching out for help in supporting my sister, Mary Moran, and brother-in-law, Sanders Moran, and their family. Sanders was admitted to Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, on Monday, November 18th, for a routine surgery and a benign tumor removal that ended up being more complicated than expected. While recuperating, Sanders went into septic shock and has been receiving life-saving medical care ever since, including multiple surgeries, dialysis, and a ventilator.
Unfortunately, Sanders was to start a new job before the Thanksgiving holidays, so he does not have short-term disability from his previous employer. Mary works part-time for Wilson County Schools, but it is not nearly enough to keep up with life's daily demands, let alone the rising hospital bills. The doctors expect Sanders to be hospitalized for at least another month.
Sanders and Mary are raising three wonderful boys. While Mary has been spending as much time as possible at the hospital, our mom has been taking care of and feeding three growing boys.
No amount is too small. Mary is trying to focus on being present for Sanders - for him to hear her voice, her comforting presence - but it is hard for her to ignore the mounting medical bills.
If you are unable to give, please remember the Moran family in your prayers. Your kindness and generosity will help them find strength in this time of need, and they are truly grateful for anything you can offer.
