Support Sandee's Fight Against Cancer

Hi friends, family, and people just scrolling the web. I am creating this fundraiser for my Mom, Sandra (or Sandee). Mom was hospitalized on 5/28 before a doctor's appointment because she could not walk. While hospitalized, the doctors found not only a brain tumor, but one in her shoulder as well. The doctors believe that both are cancerous, and mom remained in the hospital for the rest of the week. She has little to no range of motion in her shoulder and brain fog. We are unsure of the future and are awaiting some more appointments next week to understand exactly what is going on.

That being said, a week's hospitalization without health insurance is not small change, and we are reaching out for help with the medical bills. Mom will have a long journey ahead of her and while we are in the process of getting government help (disability and/or Medicare), we have no idea how long it will take. My Dad is the breadwinner of the family, but on our incomes alone, it is a heavy weight for our family.

If you know my Mom, you know that she is an amazing cook. Nobody has ever left our house without their hands and bellies full of delicious meals. She has sent me back to college with a cooler of frozen leftovers and delivered to the doors of some of my best friends more times than I can count.

All funds received from this GoFundMe will go to paying off Mom's medical expenses and helping her on her road to recovery.
