Sanctuary Indy is a Christ-centered community serving to provide safety and autonomy to our chronically homeless neighbors through validation, vital resources, and homes.

We canvas the streets of Indianapolis 5 days a week, looking for individuals in need. Our conversations begin with offering a cup of coffee, a pre-packed lunch, and then offering what we call "triage items for the next 24 hours of survival." These items include tents, tarps, sleeping bags, blankets, hygiene supplies, flashlights, resources for vital documents, resources for outreach medical providers, bus passes to get there, etc.

For the last 2 years, we've been using our Executive Director's personal vehicle. And it is small! Not only are we packed with items, we don't have the room to include people who would love to volunteer with us! A larger ADA-equipped vehicle will also help us to bring people out of the weather elements, to conduct housing assessments.

It's time to upgrade to a designated outreach vehicle for our organization and new full-time Outreach Coordinator. With your help, we can make it happen! Will you help Sanctuary Indy grow our outreach this 2025?
