Sanaullah’s Funeral Fund and Supporting His Family

On Saturday, April 8th, Sanaullah, a fifteen-year-old Afghan boy, died in a tragic car crash.

Sanaullah came along with his family as refugees to the U.S and resettled in Erie, PA in September 2021. He attended Erie High School. Sanullah was a very special, intelligent, kind, caring, and loving young boy. His father (Karim Hanif Shah) served alongside US forces in Afghanistan. Fearing for his family's safety after the collapse, they escaped from Afghanistan and immigrated to the US. Karim’s biggest dream was for his children to have a brighter future and just to be safe. Now, after the loss of their oldest son, the entire family is in intense shock, confusion, disbelief, and denial. His death changes every aspect of family life, leaving an enormous emptiness.
