This past Saturday, Sanai was enjoying a family hike when she suddenly felt severe pain in her leg. Doctors later discovered a blood clot that required emergency surgery. The operation lasted over 10 hours, but when it concluded, Sanai did not wake up from anesthesia. She was only 35 years old. Sanai’s last request to her mother before heading into surgery was to take care of her son.
Sanai was a light in our office and everywhere she went. Her positive attitude and reliability made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She was not only a wonderful coworker but also a devoted mother—her son was truly her whole world. Sanai’s presence will be deeply missed by all of us, and we want to honor her memory by supporting the person she loved most.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help Sanai’s son as he approaches a new chapter in his life. The funds raised will be given to Sanai’s mom to help with any funeral costs and to hold for her grandson until he is of age, with the goal of supporting his future education as he nears the time to go off to college. This is a way for us to come together as a community and provide some stability and opportunity for his future, just as Sanai would have wanted.
We understand the month of December is already a time where funds are tight for many people, however we would appreciate any support for Sanai and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will help honor Sanai’s legacy and make a meaningful difference in her son’s life.
