Support San Pedro's Bike Palace Employees after the Fire

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am the daughter of The Bike Palace owner and San Pedro community member Tony Jabuka. Last night, December 23rd, 2025, we lost our beloved bike shop to a devastating and severe fire. The fire started at 9 pm and was very quickly raised to Greater Alarm Status by LAFD; thanks to the undaunted effort by all of the responders, as of now the fire has been put out. No one was hurt, and nearby housing was safe. Unfortunately, everything in the shop was lost, and due to the hazardous conditions created by burning materials, Tony and the employees of the shop are not able to return.

The Bike Palace served the community for 50+ years, started by my dad’s godfather and handed down to him. The Bike Palace meant so much to the community and was everything to this family, but especially Tony and his employees. At this time, we kindly ask for help in supporting the employees who no longer have a job to come to. We deeply appreciate the kind words and stories we’ve already heard from the community about their memories from the shop, they truly mean the world in this unbelievably difficult time. ❤️
