Please support my English classes as we raise money for the San Miguel school in DC.
San Miguel provides a TUITION FREE private Catholic education for middle school boys living in economically impoverished areas. San Miguel students receive a transformative education which supports their academic, personal, spiritual and social-emotional growth, empowering them to lead lives of choice, action, faith and citizenship.
San Miguel relies almost exclusively on fundraising to support its $2.3 million operating budget.
$75 supports the education of one student per day. Below are other costs we are raising money for:
$1,500 supports adding 75 titles to our library. Students read nearly 50 books a year and are hungry for new material
$2,000 makes a difference in our athletics program either by supporting a soccer or football coach or CYO registration fees.
$2,000 is the cost to provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and late afternoon snack to one student for one year.
$2,500 supports new Social Studies books for the 8th grade that are really needed
