On September 13, 2024, my brother Samuel suffered a life-changing injury during a boxing sparring session. After being struck in the head, he collapsed and had to be airlifted to a trauma center. Doctors performed emergency surgery to remove part of his skull to relieve severe swelling and save his life.
Since then, Samuel has been through a long and difficult journey — from the hospital to rehabilitation centers, and now home. He is currently bedridden, unable to speak or move, and relies on a feeding tube. Samuel communicates by blinking to answer yes or no questions.
Our family — including my husband, nephew, and dad — have been caring for him around the clock, ensuring he receives his medication, meals, and daily care with love and patience.
We are doing everything we can to give Samuel the best chance at recovery. Our next goal is to get him into a specialized rehabilitation facility that can provide the intensive therapy and support he needs.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward his ongoing care, medical needs, and rehabilitation. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support during this challenging time. Thank you for helping us give Samuel the opportunity to heal and regain his strength.
