Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our dear friend, Samuel Robertson. Just four months ago, Samuel married the love of his life, Lexy, and they were excited to begin their journey together. Tragically, while Samuel was at work, an unexpected explosion occurred, leaving him with burns covering 80% of his body.

Samuel is currently in the Burn Center ICU, where doctors anticipate he will remain for the next 30-60 days. Following that, he will likely spend up to 6 months in the hospital as he fights to recover from this devastating injury. The road ahead will be long and challenging, but with your help, we can make a difference in Samuel and Lexy’s lives.

The financial burden that comes with such a tragedy is immense. Lexy will need to travel back and forth to be by Samuel's side, which means significant travel expenses, accommodation costs, and other unforeseen expenses. Additionally, there will be ongoing medical bills, and we hope to help their family members visit Samuel during his recovery, providing the emotional support he so desperately needs.

Samuel has proudly served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Combat Engineer for the past 3 years and holds the rank of Specialist. His commitment to serving others extends beyond his military service—Samuel’s family has been a consistent force in our community, tirelessly helping thousands of people here and around the world. This is our opportunity to give back to them and show Samuel and Lexy that they are loved and supported.
