Samuel Castaneda is a Pagosa local, fly fishing guide for Colorado Trails Ranch, amazing snowboarder, and all around awesome guy! If you know Sam, you know he’s always on some crazy adventure. No matter what life throws at him, he always remains chill through any situation and this is no exception!

While camping at Lake Powell with friends and family, Sam was exploring on a cliff near their campsite and ended up loosing his footing, making him fall a great distance to the sand below. The fall caused a major injury to Sam’s spine and he ending up needing to be flight for life’d to a hospital in Utah.

Beating all the odds, Sam is already improving so much with physical therapy! He’s still cracking jokes and keeping the most positive outlook about his situation! Sam is doing amazing, but he still has a long way to go. We are asking for support to help Samuels family with medical bills and other expenses, and to keep Samuel in your thoughts and prayers throughout this journey. ❤️
