Support Samson - Black Trans Lives Matter

We're calling on our community to join us in intentionally and aggressively addressing and condemning transphobia and homophobia in all forms. The violence against our Trans community is a public health crisis and should be treated as such.

This weekend has been a very difficult one for our community. One of our local BLM organizers, Samson Tequir, survived a violent transphobic attack and was hospitalized with very serious injuries that require surgery. He is now released and on the mend.  We're asking for your immediate support with fundraising to cover medical costs and survival needs over the next few months. I have created this gofundme with permission from Samson. He is my friend and fellow organizer. The money raised will be used for medical costs, housing and survival needs. He is the sole beneficiary.
