My brother, Sam, has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Thankfully, it’s a very treatable cancer, and his prognosis is really good. The treatment includes 6-7 weeks of chemo and 35 radiation treatments. The chemo is causing nausea and the radiation is causing internal burning and some pain, but so far he’s in good spirits and doing really well!

The issue is that Sam is a landscaper, and he’s unable to work during treatment. Thankfully, because he’s a veteran he has good medical coverage, but the loss of income is hitting hard. I’m hoping to raise $5,000 to help his cover expenses during treatment and for a month or so after, while he recovers. He’s anxious to get back to work and life, but I’d love it if he could rest and recover well after treatment!
