Hello STEM Enthusiast!
My name is Sam Miller and I am a fourth-grade student at John Simatovich Elementary School. In school, we learn about science, technology, engineering, and math. This year, I was recognized by my teacher for excelling in these subject areas. She nominated me to attend the National Youth Leadership Conference held at Loyola University of Chicago. Attendance will give me the opportunity to learn more about these very important topics. When I grow up, I really want to be an aerospace engineer.
This opportunity is very important to me, and I am hoping that you might be able to help me attend. The conference will be over five days, and it is quite expensive. To help offset the cost, I am asking family and friends to buy a shirt that I am making, and the profit will be applied to my cost. You can also make a donation to help me attend this conference I was honored to be nominated for. If we raise any extra funds, we are going to start a fund to help other children from my school have a chance to go in following years.

Thank you so much for helping me to be able to expand my education!
