Hi y’all. Sam’s wife here to reach out and talk about our current situation. Last December Sam injured both shoulders in an accident while helping someone in need. While we were able to push through the first surgery, 6 weeks of recovery, months of physical therapy, doctors visits, and a ton of missed work, we are just not able to do this alone again. Sam has been pushing through so much pain but the time has come for his second surgery and we’re reaching out for help. This is very humbling for us and understand everyone is going through so much financially during these wild times. Whether it’s a donation or share, we are incredibly grateful to you all. While we have set a goal, our expenses will exceed this so as we continue on, just know any amount would help us get through this crisis. His surgery is scheduled for October 13th, so very soon. I will be posting updates, photos, progress visits, etc. Thank you to our friends, family, community, chosen family, and all who took the time to read this!

update: Sam’s surgery has been rescheduled from 10/13 to 10/20 because of overbooking. His pain is increasing by the day so this is not great news but it does give our supporters time to donate. Every bit counts as his first payment is due today 10/10. At the hospital he will then have 2 additional payments owed. After that, his arm will be immobile for 6 weeks, meaning, no work. updated photos of Sam healing at home now I’m more than ever. We’re looking at a very expensive process which we would love your support with ❤️‍ from follow up visits to physical therapy. This will be a six week healing process before he can even attempt to use his arm.

update, 1 week down. And what a week! Sam has been really struggling with pain management and sleep. From sofa to bed and back again and multiple treatments for pain, it’s been rough. We continue to thank all of you for your love and support!

Update! Sam has started PT even though he’s still weeks away from being out of his sling. Unfortunately his pain is still a major issue and he will be having another medication change. So far we’ve been able to use the donations towards the hospital payment owed at the time of the surgery, his medication, his first follow up appointment, and first physical therapy session! Your continued contributions have really helped and will continue to do so. Love you all!

Update! Sam is starting his final week in the sling and we can start rebuilding our lives financially. He still has weekly physical therapy and follow up visits. Your contribution continues to help keep us afloat during this humbling time. So many thanks from us both!!!
