Support Sam's Recovery from Severe Fall Injuries

Hello to everyone out there that we love.

Earlier this morning Sam suffered a fifteen foot fall. He is currently in the ER Trauma Center and will be admitted into the ICU from here. Sweet Sammy was clearly being watched over, he did not sustain any trauma to his brain, neck, spinal cord or back, he has full feeling and movement of his limbs, however he did not leave this accident unscathed.

This fall resulted in a fractured collarbone, six broken ribs on his right side, one of which nicked his right lung, which is collapsed. He has received CT’s further assessing his broken bones as well as ensuring he has not sustained any further injuries. He currently has a chest tube in place to attempt to alleviate his collapsed lung. We will be receiving an update on his most recent scan shortly and speaking with an orthopedic surgeon.

Our current focus is making sure that Sam is receiving all of the necessary medical attention to ensure that he can make a full recovery, however in situations like this it is hard to not begin worrying about the financial stress. We are unsure what his medical bills will look like as we get closer to him being able to come home, but we know it will not be easy. We are asking for prayers from all of those that we love, he is in excruciating pain and it has been made clear that this pain will last for quite a while. If at any point anyone is also able to contribute a donation to Sams pending medical bills we will be forever grateful. We have an amazing circle of family and friends in our lives and that is already something we consider a blessing each day. I will continue to update everyone as we navigate this scary situation.
