Hi, I’m Julie and I’ve been named power of attorney for my niece, Sam, who has terminal Ewing Sarcoma that has now metastasized to her brain. She needs more care than her mom has been able to give her and will be moving into an assisted living group home. We’re getting help from the county, but they didn’t have a moving truck or movers available for us, so we are short funds to handle moving plus she needs items like twin-sized xl sheets for her new donated adjustable bed, a foam topper for the bed (helps her spine that now has surgical rods implanted), and supplies to care for her two cats who get to come with her to the group home as Sam’s comfort companions.
