Support Sam’s Mission to Malawi

Hey! My name is Samantha Portaccio and I am fundraising for a six-month mission program at YWAM (Youth With A Mission). After years of not living for God, I came to a place of full surrender this year and spent my savings to attend a discipleship program at School of Ministry Toronto in March, where God healed my heart and set me on fire to do His will.

During our 3 week outreach at the end of this program my team was sent to Kona, Hawaii to help with a ministry starting up there. From the moment we left the Kona airport, I felt God saying there was something more for me there. We ended up connecting with people at YWAM, and God started stirring something in my heart around missions. After A LOT of prayer and confirmations, I feel like this is the next step God is calling me to and I am beyond excited for it. I have officially been accepted into the Endeavor DTS this October Semester, which involves 3 months of discipleship/mission training and then a 3 month mission trip. The elective I chose to focus on for the 3 months of training is “Life-Bearers”, which trains us up in maternal health, education and relationships.

However, there is a very short turn around time between graduating from School of Ministry in July to starting YWAM in October, so I need some financial support on this one! I have been working full time, and will be up until I leave, I just sold my car, and am in the process of selling the majority of my belongings in order to help pay for this- but it still won’t be enough. I’m making this page in hopes that people will partner with me on this journey to grow and help change lives. I appreciate anything you can give, whether financially or in prayer!
