All my friends and family, you know I suffered a stroke on July 22, 2023, that has left me with left-sided paralysis. I'm trying hard to get out of my wheelchair and to be able to walk on a regular basis.

My insurance has denied my claim to purchase the Bioness, which is a walking aid you strap to your leg. It's a walking stem I was able to demo this in January. It was amazing. I was able to take about 10 steps. Barefoot it will enable me to walk eventually without a cane and my AFO. It helps me to have active dorsiflexion in my left foot and also helps build the muscle in my leg. I voluntarily recently went back to PT to help me build more muscle in my legs. Most of you that follow me and my story know I've been going to CrossFit every week. I am no longer going there because of how I was treated, so the only other choice I have at the moment is to buy this device outright. I'm asking that everyone who can support me with any amount to help me be able to buy this on my own. This is why I'm setting this GoFundMe up, hoping I can raise some money to buy this so I can continue my journey recovering from this stroke that has changed my life forever. I just really want to get back out there on the trails and doing the other things that I enjoy.
