Hi, my name is Sam Kelly, and I never imagined I’d be in this position — but here I am, asking for a little help during one of the hardest times in my life.

I was recently the victim of a shooting. Thankfully, I survived, but the recovery process has been difficult, painful, and filled with unexpected challenges. On top of the physical and emotional toll, I’ve been hit with medical bills I wasn’t prepared for. To make things more overwhelming, I was just getting ready to move into my very first apartment — a huge milestone that now feels uncertain.

Because of my injuries, I haven't been able to work my regular hours, which means my income has taken a serious hit right when I need it most. Between the medical expenses and move-in costs, I’m facing a mountain of financial stress — at a time when I really need to focus on healing.
