This fundraiser is to support Sam Kerr's Fight Against Breast Cancer. Your kind and generous donations will help the Kerr Family pay Sam's medical bills as she goes through this fight.

On Tuesday, July 9th, our family's world was turned upside down as Sam was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (Breast Cancer).

Hi, we are the Kerr Family, Samantha, Mike, Sophia, and Liam.

We are a small family that live in Williamsport, MD. As a family we enjoy spending time together, watching movies, attending local music festivals, taking long walks on the canal and anything that allows us to be with each other and have fun. But sometimes other aspects of life can take away all those fun parts of being a family.

The time from knowing something was wrong, all the test and Dr. appointments, to the diagnosis was a tough journey on its own. It was and has been a scary journey, leaving us with no words and only tears. Sam's Care Team has a great plan set up for her but as you can imagine it involves many doctors’ visits, lots of treatment, medications, chemo, therapy, time, time off work, tears, hugs and so much more to make sure Sam and our family, fights this cancer with everything we have.

We know we are going to do everything we can to get through this time in our lives, but we also know we cannot do this alone. We are so grateful for our Family and Friends who are by our sides as we go through this and who have offered to help us in so many ways. Unfortunately, the medical bills are already in our hands, and they are stacking up quickly. There are a lot of doctor visits, and they are very overwhelming with so much information and next steps that being by each other’s side is immensely helpful. As many of us know though you do not get paid for time off work and insurance does not cover even close to all the costs that come with a diagnosis like this. We genuinely appreciate any amount you can offer to help us out, even if it is a prayer or a warm hug.
