Support Sammy's Journey to Publish Acting Book

Hello hopeful investor,

I am here asking for your help and support in this venture I have been in for the last few months. I am in the process of writing a book on acting and performance technique in general. As you know, this has never been a dream or goal of mine. a little under a year ago I was talking to some friends and colleagues and they gave me the idea to write about acting technique and my philosophy for beginner performers. I had no idea how to start writing a book, so I sat down at my computer and started writing what I knew. Slowly pages started to become chapters and I started to have clarity in the points I was making. I started having meetings with publishers in January to start to pitch. At this point it is starting to feel real. It is crazy to me that I am so excited and dedicated to something that up until last year I literally didn’t know I even wanted to do.

I have a lot of work to do still, but I am passionate and driven to complete it. To do it right, I know I can’t rush it. I am taking your advice that you all have told me for years, I am taking some time for myself and not working ALL of the time. I want to focus my time on the book.

In order to do that and still do the research I need to do for the book I need funding. I have been and will continue to apply for research grants, but it is a long and honestly incredibly humbling process. I am here asking for your help, tail between my legs. I would appreciate your help, something that I am not ashamed to admit, it is okay to ask for help. But I also understand it is okay for you to say no. I am asking for whatever you feel inclined to give if any at all.

I respect you and your opinion so much and I am so much of who I am due to your influence. You have always been so supportive of the work I have done and I can not thank you enough for that. I have gained so much of my strength and my drive from yall. I look up to you all so much.
