A year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Six months ago, I welcomed my first child into the world. After giving birth, I learned that I have a congenital heart defect that has been with me my entire life, but had gone unnoticed until now. The stress of pregnancy, combined with episodes of liver, kidney, and heart failure, has made it necessary for me to undergo heart surgery to repair my heart.
As if that wasn’t enough, just two days ago, I had to say goodbye to my emotional support animal, who had been by my side through so many of these challenges. This loss has been incredibly hard on me and my family, especially as we try to navigate this already overwhelming time.
After my heart surgery, I will also need to undergo surgery for my endometriosis. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my medical bills and help support my family while I am unable to work for 6–8 weeks during my recovery, as well as the additional surgery for my endometriosis. I am extremely appreciative of all the help we receive. The love and support means the world to us during this extremely difficult time. Thank you for considering supporting my journey to healing and stability.
