Support Sami's Recovery and Family Relief

On Tuesday June 11th, my niece, Sami, was in a life changing accident. Our family is still uncertain as to how it occurred but what we do know is we want our Sami back. Since the accident, Sami has been in a medically-induced coma to allow her body and brain to begin healing.

She is faced with a collapsed lung, fractured pelvis, multiple facial fractures and, the scariest of all, brain bleeding and an artery that is cut.

Doctors have tried to reducing her coma meds but her vitals jumped. They will continue to try reducing the coma induced meds as the days go on and we will continue to provide updates on Sami's wellbeing here.

For those of you that know Sami, you know her pure and unlimited kindness, love for animals, free spirit, and pure determination. No one can ever forget her infectious laugh when she gets going!

Sami's Parents Greg and Candice are currently experiencing something no parent should ever experience. They are remaining by her side 24/7 as Sami is their #1 priority. That said, the financial impact of this accident and ongoing medical treatment is going to be challenging for this family. If you have it in your heart and your finances to contribute anything to offset the additional stress of the financial impacts for Greg, Candice, and Sami, we would greatly appreciate it.

At minimum we welcome all positive vibes, prayers, and thoughts as our family makes our way through this unimaginable tragedy.
