Support Samantha's Recovery from Hurricane Milton
Donation protected
Our hope with this Go Fund Me is for Samantha Snyder to recover from a flash flood to her house in the USF Tampa area. This flood happened as the aftermath of Hurricane Milton on October 10, 2024. A devastating and unexpected flood event was due to the City of Tampa pumps not being activated and many houses in the Forest Hills subdivision flooded. This area has never flooded before and was a shock to Samantha and her neighbors.
Samantha is 28 years old. She is employed and goes to school full time. She also has a sweet pup Beau whom she adores. Samantha and Beau are currently staying in a rental home until her house can be gutted and repaired. This is required due to the water damage, sewage smell and mold/bacteria in the house.
Samantha lost everything other than a few items as no prior notice was identified by the City of Tampa and her subdivision was not told to evacuate. Please consider being a blessing to Samantha to help her with temporary housing costs and replacement of household items.
