Hello everyone,

My name is Aleida Sukhai, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, proud new parents who are going through one of the most challenging moments of their lives.

On October 9th, their beautiful baby Samantha was born and soon had to be admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to breathing difficulties related to transient tachypnea of the newborn (TTN). Since her birth, Samantha has been bravely fighting every single day connected to oxygen and medical equipment while her tiny lungs continue to develop.

Thanks to the incredible doctors and nurses caring for her, Samantha is showing encouraging progress. The medical team is gradually reducing her oxygen support so she can start breathing more on her own. However, her treatment and stay in the NICU have brought unexpected and growing medical expenses, which her parents are struggling to cover on their own.

This campaign has been created to help cover Samantha’s ongoing hospital care, medication, and medical follow-ups, so her parents can focus on what truly matters, being by her side and helping her recover fully until she’s strong enough to come home.

Every contribution, no matter how small, means a lot to this family.

Apoya la recuperación y cuidados médicos de la bebé Samantha para llevarla a casa.

Hola a todos,

Mi nombre es Aleida, y estoy organizando esta campaña en nombre de mis queridos amigos, unos padres que están viviendo un momento muy difícil tras el nacimiento de su bebé.

El pasado 9 de octubre, su hermosa hija Samantha llegó al mundo, pero poco después tuvo que ser ingresada en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN) debido a dificultades respiratorias causadas por una Taquipnea transitoria del recién nacido (TTRN). Desde ese día, Samantha ha estado luchando con mucha valentía, conectada a oxígeno y bajo monitoreo constante mientras sus pequeños pulmones terminan de madurar.

Gracias a Dios y al trabajo incansable del equipo médico, Samantha ha mostrado una evolución positiva. Poco a poco le están reduciendo el oxígeno para que pueda respirar por sí sola. Sin embargo, todos estos cuidados han generado gastos médicos elevados e inesperados, difíciles de asumir para sus padres.

Esta campaña tiene como objetivo ayudar a cubrir los costos del hospital, los tratamientos y el seguimiento médico, para que sus padres puedan concentrarse en lo más importante: acompañarla con todo su amor hasta que esté lista para ir a casa.

Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, acerca un poco más a Samantha al momento más esperado: salir del hospital y descansar en brazos de sus padres.
