Dear Friends and Family,
I come to you today with unfortunate news. Earlier this month, my beloved and cherished wife Samantha has been diagnosed with clear cell renal cell carcinoma. It is a slow moving but aggressive cancer in her left kidney. Fortunately it has not spread outside of the kidney, however the recommended corse of action is to remove the kidney. It is the best thing to do.
So far the surgery is tentatively scheduled for august 20th but we are trying to get it sooner. I go back to work driving a school bus the day before.
As most of you know, Sam works for herself cleaning houses. A physically demanding job to say the least. Im sure you can guess that this surgery comes with a lengthy and restrictive recovery. She will not be able to return to work for a full month. She will also need my care during this time,
We are biting the bullet and asking for help because we will both be missing significant time from work.
We know things are… well… you know 2025ish right now so we understand that not everybody can pitch in… but anything helps. Thank you for reading, thank you more for sharing. It takes a village
