Help a Full-time student get a new car after near-fatal accident

Hi everyone, my name is Samantha Rodriguez. On August 25th, 2024, I was in a near-death car accident caused by another party involved in a car chase that ran a red light and were already being pursued by the police. I was hit full-force on my driver’s side while I was driving and sustained injuries on my legs, neck, ribs, and back which impaired my walking for a while. This accident unfortunately totaled my car as well. The accident happened three days before school started, and I am currently a full-time student on my last year of University to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Biology and don’t have the funds to pay for a new car. I am a first-generation Latina student who is also helping my immigrant parents financially by working a part-time job. I am currently struggling to get to school and have funds to pay for other daily life necessities.

It is a true miracle of God that I am still alive and able to be with my family. Any help received, donation, or share would really be appreciated and mean the world!

El 25 de agosto de 2024, tuve un accidente automovilístico casi mortal causado por otra parte involucrada en una persecución en coche que se pasó un semáforo en rojo y ya estaba siendo perseguido por la policía. El carro iba a gran velocidad y me pegó en el lado del conductor mientras conducía y sufrí lesiones en las piernas, el cuello, las costillas y la espalda que afectaron a mi caminata por un tiempo. Desafortunadamente, este accidente también destruyó mi coche. El accidente ocurrió tres días antes de que comenzara la escuela, y actualmente soy un estudiante a tiempo completo y no tengo los fondos para pagar para un coche en buenas condiciones. Soy una estudiante latina de primera generación y estoy en mi último año del universidad para mi Bachelor’s Degree en Biología y también estoy ayudando económicamente a mis padres inmigrantes trabajando a tiempo parcial. Actualmente estoy luchando para llegar a la escuela y tener fondos para pagar otras necesidades de la vida diaria.

Es un verdadero milagro de Dios que todavía esté viva y pueda estar con mi familia. ¡Cualquier ayuda recibida, donación o participación sería realmente apreciada y significaría mucho para mejorar mi futuro y ayudar a mis padres
