Hi my name is Jessica and I’m Samantha Woo’s sister. Samantha is a wonderful mother to two young kids; a 3 year old daughter and a 1.5 year old son. Unexpectedly Sam has been in and out of the hospital the last couple weeks with episodes causing temporary whole body paralysis.

My sister has episodes where her whole body goes numb lasting 8 mins and they are now happening all day long. She is unable to play with her kids or even perform basic tasks as it’s too difficult, this has completely changed her life. She has an amazing team of doctors, researching and trying to figure out why this is happening, but all we know now is that it is rare and complicated. Due to the severity and sporadic nature of her episodes, they have put her on disability and temporarily taken away her drivers license.

Her devoted husband is working hard to make ends meet, care for my sister and run all errands etc. We have no idea how long my sister will have these episodes or how severe her condition is. As you can imagine, this has taken a huge toll on their family. I am asking for donations, so my sister won’t have the stress of bills piling up on top of her already scary situation. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and will directly go towards their bills and keeping them and their family afloat during this hard time.
