Dear Friends and Family,

September 2024, we found out that our beautiful mother, Samantha Smith, was diagnosed with uterine cancer.

Anyone that knows our mom knows that she is a woman who has a warm heart, and is always looking out for others. Her and our Dad raised us 4 kids to be strong and independent but more importantly to care about people.

We're hopeful for a positive outcome, but we also are preparing for a lot of unknown.

After relocating from New York to North Carolina to embrace a new chapter as an empty nester with our Dad, she's been lucky to find a good job that she loves, but doesn't provide good healthcare coverage. We're not there yet, but we know medical expenses will be significant and with state provided healthcare, we know there will be a lot of out of pocket expenses.
